Tamar Maor is a sculpture and objects conservator with over 20 years of professional experience working across museum, academic, and private-sector contexts. She is Founder of TM Art Conservation and Associate Lecturer (Teaching) in Conservation of Contemporary Art & Media at University College London (UCL).
Tamar specialises in the conservation of modern and contemporary sculpture, design objects, and mixed-media works, with particular expertise in complex modern materials. Her work is informed by research, material testing, and close collaboration with museum teams, artists, and conservation scientists.
Clients can expect clear communication, careful documentation, and treatments carried out to the highest professional standards, using appropriate conservation materials and ethical best practice.
Tamar is a Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation (AIC) and an Accredited Conservator-Restorer with the Institute of Conservation (ICON).
